CARO, is hull number 2 of the famous Knierim 49′ series. Her hull lines are identical with her predecessor but CARO has a luxurious interior with beautiful veneer covered bulwarks and furniture.
CARO is a typical performance cruiser that is just as suitable for long-distance regattas such as the ARC as it is for relaxed sailing with a small crew. Thanks to the carbon sandwich construction, there is no need to compromise on optimum sailing characteristics despite the luxury. When the boat ploughs through the waves at 24 knots, it means pure sailing fun for the crew.
The yacht was designed by the renowned design office Judel/Vrolijk & co. in Bremerhaven and combines performance, elegance and comfort in a high-quality overall package. A total of three yachts of this type were launched at our shipyard.
